At Auckland Central Medical our integrated practice team works hard to provide the highest quality general practice, recognising the importance of disease prevention, health promotion and lifestyle balance for long term wellbeing.
On the 1st May 2019 we introduced specialist clinic welcoming Dr Kathleeya Stang-Veldhouse, Board Certified, Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Ophthalmologist, and as of the 19th June 2019, Dr Daniel Poratt (PhD), Podiatrist , has joined our specialist centre.
We are also pleased to announce the arrival of Mr Sergei Tchijov, Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Middlemore Hospital, seeing private patients at our facility.
Our Doctor
Dr. Garsing WONG
Registered medical practitioner in New Zealand, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Born in Auckland, graduated from the University of Auckland with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery 1991, Bachelor of Human Biology 1987, Advanced Certificate in the Principles and Practices of Radiochemistry 1987 and the Diploma in Community Emergency Medicine 1996 as well as completing the Laser Training Course, University of Queensland 2005.
Dr Garsing Wong is the first and only locally born and trained hair restoration surgeon in New Zealand to be recognised as a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery by participating and showing proficiency in both extensive written and oral examinations, each of which is statistically validated with regard to his ability to discriminate between those whose practice habits are consistent with safe, aesthetically sensitive hair restoration surgery.
